This restaurant is my go-to for Thai in the university area! Tons of vegetarian options; any of the curries or the sriracha stir-fry noodles with tofu are fantastic.

New Year’s Day and I was hoping for some really great chicken and veggies and it ended up being so salty as to be inedible. This used to be my favorite Thai place.

Decent food at an affordable price.

Delicious food. The Cashew Chicken is the best I've ever had, the service was phenomenal and the soup was good too. Everything is clean and fresh.

This time I tried the chicken Pad Thai, awesome, not so sweet or tangy, chicken was tender, they add little pieces of peanuts that gives you a tropical flavor sense.

Just ordered it to-go today. If you like your meals bland, try this place... probably the worst Thai food ever made. Their packaging is useless, Pad Thai was OK, however the red curry was 🤢🤮. I would have given 1 star but it came with 2 complimentary spring rolls. The spring rolls weren’t the worst either.

I would go here over and over again. The staff is so nice and friendly. Get the green curry with rice. It is very good.

Taste wise I personally prefer the other Thai place on Guad (Pad Thai restaurant), but my boyfriend likes it.

I'm really excited to be living within delivery range of Thai Kitchen again, they were my staple when I was at UT. I haven't found a better Thai place in Austin since, and I was really surprised that the reviews didn't reflect that, so here's my run down of all the dishes I've tried. Pad Thai: By far my favorite Pad Thai in Austin. It's heavy on the peanuts which are my favorite part. Most other Thai restaurants I've been to are pretty heavy on the tomato sauce which I don't like, but if there's tomato's in Thai Kitchens Pad Thai then I haven't noticed them. I guess this could be a downside if you weren't expecting it going in, but I can't imagine anyone not liking their Pad Thai. I usually get it with chicken. Drunken Noodles: Pretty much a spicier and much more flavorful Pad Zee Ew. I like it quite a bit, and it's definitely a good end to a night of drinking. Thai food is known for being spicy and while I wouldn't consider this Thai-spicy, it's definitely got some kick, so if you can't handle spicy dishes you may want to stay away from this one. Pad Zee Ew: Nice and simple if you want something basic with lots of noodles and nothing which could upset your stomach. Personally I prefer their other options, but if you want to play it safe it's not a bad option. Tiger Cry: I have never had this, but I have quite a few friends who have tried it. They can usually handle very spicy food, but they were definitely sweating. They all said it tasted good though, so if you can handle some of the spiciest meals in Austin you might want to give it a try.

Pretty damn delicious!!! Moved here from nyc and we’re super happy to have found a “go to” Thai spot we can rely on. The Gang Pet Gai Red curry dish was Amazing, a bit spicy, but big flavor! Pad Thai was very solid as well and same with the Fried rice combo dish. 5 Stars!!!

Didn't deliver my full order. My 6 year old bit into the chicken satay and it was raw. My salad has old, wilting and in places rotting lettuce. The beef looks like it was cooked days ago. I have no idea why this place has the reviews it does. I would stay away.

Just got our order. no spoon for my tum yum soup and no fork for my husband’s fried rice...guess we expect to eat with our fingers. For the price, the taste and quantity is so so. Delivery service was good...food arrived on time and still hot...thank you, Uber guy!

Didn't have any complaint with service food quality or the environment. It's a nice change from a lot of the overcrowded places and gots a more subliminal undertone with a pinch of that home style hospitality. Do recommend the pork curry

Soups, pineapple fried rice, cheese wontons...all good. My tofu was overcooked and sour last time but it was an isolated incident. Can't beat the service!!

I eat here at least once a week, and my life would not be the same without it. Friendly staff and fast service. The pad Thai, Indian fried rice, and Thai iced tea are all excellent

If you have no dietary restriction pick any dish vegetarian or not you can't make a bad decision.

My favorite Thai in Austin yet! The pad Thai is to die for.

First place I ever had Tom Ka several years ago. Have had it in many other Thai restaurants and none have come close to the delicious version at Thai Kitchen!! The service is very friendly and prompt. There is a front patio area which would be fun on a pleasant day. The restaurant seems to be making small changes all the time and is "full" whenever we're there but still has tables available.

Have this a couple times, tried to like it and give it a chance, but it’s just not very good. Nothing specific, just always something off. Chicken satay was rubbery and the satay sauce was watery. Peanut vegetable soup was just water with a couple of peanuts in it, added peanut butter to it for flavor. The drunk noodles were really good and the fried rice is fine the massamun curry tasted great, but the meat had a weird texture/taste. Ultimately I think a restaurant needs more than one delicious dish to be worth a visit.

When they say spicy "good luck," don't challenge them on that. Portions are 'lean'.

Just ordered 3 "vegetarian" dishes from this establishment on UberEats. All three contained chicken.

Not good. I took a few bites and ended up throwing most of it away. Order from Pad Thai at Guadalupe and 33rd instead if you want good Thai. It's a couple blocks from this place.

Some of the best Pad Thai I've ever had.

This was the only restaurant open on Christmas Day, which I definitely appreciate and thank them for. However in terms of customer service, I had a very bad experience. I had ordered pick up via Uber eats. I went in the restaurant to pick it up when I got a notification that my food was ready for pick up. I went in and continued to wait over the next 15 mins at the front, with no one informing me what’s the situation or even asking about my pick up. Their staff kept seeing me waiting there (and there were some other people as well), but no courtesy at all to ask why are we waiting OR do we have anything as pick up. No body seemed bothered. Finally one of them came in and asked what was the name on the order which I provided him and showed him the order on my phone too. But they seemed to still be confused about something and my pick up was not been given to me for long- again no courtesy to inform whatsoever what’s taking that long. Finally he got a bag with food and placed it in front of me. That’s it! I asked him to confirm if that’s my order or not- because from his side- there was absolutely no communication/ expression. He said yes it’s my order. I requested him, if we can get a couple paper plates /spoons which I had requested in my online order too. His exact response was ‘No paper plates or spoons. We don’t have them. Not for pick up’. Then he himself says ‘ you must be having them at home’. Since I was not staying at home and was visiting Austin, I told him I’m not at home and hence was requesting those. Then he had a smirk on his face and said ‘we have some other utensils’ and laughed. I just walked out of the restaurant with my order without responding to him or showing any reaction. If this is how they speak to their customers- I don’t know if most would want to come back. Nothing wrong about the food- but I would not come back here because of my experience today and the rude behavior displayed by the guy at this restaurant. I will rather be comfortable paying extra but going to another place where they show some respect towards their customers and know how to talk properly.

It's alright. Good food and service is relatively fast. The curry plate is pretty spicy hot.

My go to spot for Thai food in Austin. Pad Thai and Tom Kah are my go to dishes. Easy, inexpensive, and quick!

Authentic food at a good price

I really enjoyed my first visit, and my fried rice with pork--well done! The waiter is excellent and has great customer service and follow-through. I will come back again...

Good food. Nice people. Can ask for gluten free, I.e., no soy sauce.
